Milestones
The Humble Beginnings (1983-92)
The epic-like journey of Jansons into a leading and diversified industrial conglomerate has but a modest beginning. Since then, the growth of the group has been phenomenal.
- 1983- The start of the legacy. Jansons Group is founded and an eventful success story begins.
- 1989- A modern processing unit – a precursor to later achievements was set up by the management.
- 1992- The group commissions its own printing machine – another milestone that gives way to hopeful diversifications.
A Period of Diversification (1994-2004)
- 1994- The group enters into a new venture with the establishment of the Granite Polishing division, later to become a leading name in the domain.
- 2002- One of the pet projects of the founder, the Medical Diagnostics division commences operation. It soon proves to be a trustworthy name.
- 2002- A thoughtful foray into the education business. Jansons School of Business (JSB) is today one of the most sought after ‘B’ Schools in the country.
Rapid Growth (2005-2014)
- 2005- The Pioneer Processing Unit becomes part of the group, opening up new avenues of excellence.
- 2008 – 1st own retail outlet exclusively for men under the name Jansons.
- 2009- The prestigious Jansons Institute of Technology commences functioning. Yet another feather in the cap of Jansons, JIT today creates engineering grads par excellence.
- 2010 – Jansons clothing – Home furnishing division.
- 2012 – Jansons Spinning
- 2014 – New modernized stitching unit overall capacity of 500 machines exclusively for Home Textiles
Rapid Growth (2015 onwards)
- 2015 – JDC Brand Launched
- 2017 – JDC BOY Brand Launched
- 2019 – Jansons Kurta & Dhoti Launched
